Aquapark Costa Teguise

Aquapark Costa Teguise is one of the Canary Islands' most consistently enjoyable water parks, combining adrenaline-pumping slides with a relaxed wave pool and sweeping views of the volcanic landscape — a combination that makes it genuinely fun for adults as well as families.

The Rides Worth Queuing For

The park's signature attraction is the Kamikaze — a near-vertical free-fall slide that deposits riders into a splash pool at the bottom in under four seconds. For something more theatrical, the Black Hole enclosed tube slide winds through total darkness before ejecting you into daylight.

The wave pool is a surprisingly convincing simulation of Atlantic surf, generating 1.2-metre swells on a 10-minute cycle. It draws both toddlers paddling at the edges and teenagers body-surfing in the deep end, which tells you everything about its broad appeal.

Beyond the Slides

A lazy river loops around the park's perimeter, passing through a short tunnel and beneath a waterfall — perfect for switching off between the bigger attractions. Sun-loungers are plentiful and the on-site restaurant serves decent grilled fish and cold Tropical beer, Lanzarote's local brew.

The park sits on elevated ground above the resort, meaning the views from the top of the tallest slides extend across Costa Teguise's rooftops to the Atlantic. On a clear day you can make out the outline of Fuerteventura 100 kilometres to the south.
