Art Meets Altitude
The works are grouped by artistic phase — figurative (1950–1958), transitional, abstract, organic and landscape — so a walk through the garden doubles as a biography of one of Brazil's most important 20th-century sculptors.
From several points on the trail, the view opens onto the Pedra do Baú rock formation and the ridgeline of the Mantiqueira, a jaw-dropping frame for contemplating a piece of abstract bronze.
Sharing a Stage with the Winter Festival
The museum shares its grounds with the Auditório Claudio Santoro, home of the celebrated Festival Internacional de Inverno de Campos do Jordão held each July — meaning the sculpture garden transforms into a concert backdrop during the city's biggest cultural event.
A small cafeteria and a bookshop are on site, making this an easy half-morning stop before heading to the adjacent Boa Vista Palace.
