Villa Comunale di Frosinone
A circular fountain sits near the entrance, and beyond it the paths divide — one toward Italian-garden hedges and flowerbeds, another into a looser woodland at the back where the trees are old enough to give real shade. The Villa Comunale di Frosinone occupies a central block off Via Marco Tullio Cicerone, and it functions the way a good public park should: as a place where a morning walk and a children's afternoon and a summer evening concert can all coexist without getting in each other's way.
The Casa De Matthaeis, the main building, holds conference rooms, exhibition halls and a wedding room, and it can be hired for events by arrangement with the municipality. Most days, though, it's the grounds that draw people — the benches placed at the right intervals, the gelato vendor Sbardella, the Monument to the Fallen standing quietly among the trees.

The story behind Villa Comunale di Frosinone
The park takes its name from Contessa De Matthaeis, and the Casa De Matthaeis — the villa building at its heart — preserves that connection to Frosinone's civic past. The grounds as they stand today are the result of a restoration and modernisation programme completed in 2002, which reconfigured the rear section into a proper public park with woodland, sports facilities and the children's play area that still anchors that end of the grounds.
The 2002 reopening added the conference infrastructure and exhibition halls inside the Casa, giving the space a dual life: part municipal venue, part everyday park for the city.
Good to know
The park is free and open every day; summer hours run until 11 PM. If you want to use the Casa De Matthaeis for an event, requests go to the mayor's office at least 30 days ahead. From the town centre it's an easy walk. An hour is enough for a casual visit; longer if you linger.
Spring (May, around 20°C) and early autumn (September, around 24°C) are the most comfortable seasons for the park — warm without the full heat of July and August, which can push to 30°C. Winter visits are mild by northern European standards but cool; bring a layer, and you may catch the seasonal ice rink.

The green space of Frosinone. It's a nice park in which to sit in the shade and eat an ice cream from the nearby gelateria, Sbardella. It has a (small) children's play area and occasionally in the main building, it hosts exhibitions and things of interest.
So... nice quite day *.*
The play ground could use some maintenance but on the whole it's one of the few nice places for kids to play in town.
