Sant Antoni Sunday Market (Mercat de Sant Antoni)
Every Sunday morning the esplanade around Sant Antoni's harbour and the streets near the church fill with a lively double-act: a fresh produce and artisan-food market on one side and a bohemian craft and jewellery market on the other. It is the most authentic weekly gathering in town, drawing islanders alongside travellers.
What to Browse and Buy
The food stalls overflow with local sobrasada sausage, Ibizan cheese (formatge pagès), honey from the island's interior, fresh almonds and seasonal vegetables grown in the fertile fields of the Sant Antoni valley.
The craft side features handmade leather sandals (abarcas), silver jewellery, macramé, hand-painted ceramics and vintage clothing — quality varies, but genuine local artisans are easy to spot by the care in their work.
Eating and Drinking Your Way Around
Several stalls sell freshly made coca (a flat Balearic pastry topped with vegetables or sobrasada), pa amb oli with local tomatoes, and fresh-squeezed orange juice — a full breakfast costs barely a few euros.
Grab a coffee at one of the pavement cafés on Carrer de Guillem de Montgri that border the market and watch the town wake up at a gloriously unhurried pace.
