What to Order
Start with the antipasto di lago: a rotating board of cured and marinated freshwater fish, pickled vegetables, and polenta squares that gives you a crash course in Lario cuisine in four bites.
For a main, the risotto al pesce persico (perch risotto) is the benchmark dish — creamy, subtly mineral, finished with local butter and a handful of lake herbs. It takes 20 minutes to arrive and is worth every second.
Setting & Booking
Tables on the narrow terrace overhang the harbour wall so closely that moored rowing boats bob at eye level — eat here at lunch when the light bounces off the water and onto the parasols above you.
The restaurant is small (around 30 covers) and popular with Italian day-trippers on weekends; booking at least two days ahead for Saturday and Sunday lunch is strongly advised.
