The Lebua State Tower rises above Bangrak's riverside skyline, and its open-air Sky Bar sits at the very crown — no glass panels, no ceiling, just open sky and a 360-degree panorama stretching to the horizon.
The bar gained global fame after featuring in the film The Hangover Part II, but the view is the real star: the Chao Phraya River curves beneath you while Wat Arun's spire glints across the water.
When to Go & What to Order
The golden hour window — roughly 5:30 to 7 PM — delivers the most dramatic light, with the sky shifting from deep amber to violet before the city's neon grid switches on.
The signature Hanpao cocktail is the crowd favourite, but the bar's full menu of Thai-inspired drinks pairs perfectly with the altitude. Smart-casual dress is enforced; no shorts or flip-flops.
Getting There
The tower is on Silom Road, a 10-minute walk from BTS Saphan Taksin station or a short taxi ride from Silom BTS.
Book a table online in advance — walk-ins are accepted but the prime rail spots fill up fast, especially on weekends.
