Belvedere di Conca dei Marini
The clifftop terrace beside the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Neve offers one of the most unobstructed panoramas on the entire Amalfi Coast — a sweeping arc of cobalt sea, terraced lemon groves, and the rust-and-white rooftops of Conca dei Marini tumbling toward the water. Sunrise here, with almost no other tourists, is quietly spectacular.
What you see
From this natural balcony you can trace the coastline from the Capo di Conca headland west toward Praiano, with the silhouette of Capri floating on the horizon on clear days. The cove of Marina di Conca sits directly below, its small beach and Saracen watchtower perfectly framed.
The terraced hillsides planted with lemon trees and bougainvillea cascade down the cliff face in every direction, giving the view a layered, painterly depth that photographs beautifully in the golden hour before sunset.
Combining the visit
The belvedere is a 10-minute walk from the SS163 bus stop, following the stepped Via Principessa di Piemonte through the village. The path itself is lined with ceramic-tiled house numbers and potted geraniums — a visual treat before you even reach the top.
Pair the viewpoint with a look inside the 17th-century church beside it; the interior is modest but the majolica floor tiles are worth a glance, and the church square doubles as the village's social hub on weekend evenings.
