What's on the plate
Expect market-driven dishes that take Vendée and Anjou ingredients seriously: think slow-cooked pork from a local farm, pike-perch from the Maine river served with a beurre blanc that would make a Nantes chef nod approvingly, and vegetables sourced from a single market garden outside the city.
The lunch formule — starter, main and glass of wine for around €18 — is one of the best-value meals in the Pays de la Loire. Book ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings; the dining room is small and fills quickly.
