The restaurant itself, designed by architect Anna Noguera, is a calm, beautiful space of pale wood and natural light that puts diners entirely at ease despite the ambition of what's being served. For those who can't secure a table at El Celler, the brothers' Casa Cacao on Plaça de l'Oli in the old town offers single-origin chocolate creations, artisan ice creams and a small boutique hotel — the hot chocolate alone justifies the visit.
