Marasi Business Bay Superyacht Harbour
Most visitors to Business Bay never discover that tucked behind the towers along the canal's northern edge lies Marasi Marina — a full-service superyacht harbour that looks like it was airlifted from the French Riviera. The floating restaurants, gleaming white hulls and waterside terraces make it one of the most unexpectedly glamorous free-to-visit spots in Dubai.
The Marina Experience
Marasi Business Bay Marina stretches along the northern bank of the Dubai Water Canal and berths some of the most impressive private yachts in the region — walking the dock is free, and the scale of the vessels is genuinely jaw-dropping. On weekend evenings, the whole marina glows with string lights reflecting off the water, and the atmosphere is festive without being crowded.
The marina is also the departure point for private yacht charters and sunset dhow cruises that offer a completely different perspective on the Business Bay skyline. Several operators have desks at the marina entrance; a shared sunset cruise typically costs AED 150–200 per person and runs about 90 minutes.
Eating and Drinking Waterside
The floating restaurant pontoons moored at Marasi are among Business Bay's most atmospheric dining venues. Cle Dubai, a Lebanese restaurant and lounge perched on the water's edge, serves mezze and grills with an unobstructed view of the canal and the Opus building beyond — reserve a terrace table for the full effect.
For something more casual, the marina-side kiosks sell fresh juices and light bites, and the stone seating areas along the water are a perfectly pleasant place to sit with a takeaway coffee and watch the yachts manoeuvre in and out of their berths — a surprisingly meditative activity in the middle of one of the world's busiest cities.
