Art Meets Riverbank
The Paseo de las Esculturas stretches along the banks of the Arroyo Napostá and is home to a rotating collection of large-scale metal sculptures created by artists from across Argentina and beyond — each piece interacts differently with the light depending on the time of day you visit.
The contrast between the raw industrial materials of the sculptures and the lush riparian vegetation makes this one of the most photogenic spots in the city, yet it remains almost entirely off the tourist radar.
Walk, Cycle, Linger
The path is wide, flat, and shaded, making it perfect for a morning jog, a slow afternoon cycle, or a picnic on the grass beside the water. Rent a bike from the city centre and the whole route takes under an hour at a leisurely pace.
As the sun drops in the late afternoon, the metal surfaces of the sculptures catch the light in spectacular ways — bring a camera and arrive about 90 minutes before sunset for the best shots.
