La Brezza at Tschuggen Grand Hotel
High in the Swiss Alps you might expect hearty stews and cheese fondue — and you can find those too — but La Brezza at Arosa's Tschuggen Grand Hotel plays an entirely different game, delivering serious fine dining with a mountain backdrop that no city restaurant can match.
Two Menus, One Ambition
Chef Marco Campanella runs two parallel tasting menus under the same roof: 'Ispirazione', built around exceptional fish and meat from Swiss and Italian suppliers, and 'Moving Mountains', a fully plant-based journey that treats vegetables with the same respect usually reserved for prime cuts. Both menus show genuine culinary conviction rather than trend-chasing.
The wine list is curated to match the altitude — lighter, mineral-driven bottles that let the food lead. The dining room frames a wall of snow-capped peaks through floor-to-ceiling glass, so the landscape becomes the final course.
When & How to Book
La Brezza is a dinner destination; book a table well in advance, especially during peak ski season (January–March) and the busy summer hiking weeks of July and August. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is a short walk or complimentary shuttle ride from Arosa village centre.
For a lighter taste of the same kitchen philosophy, the hotel's terrace bar serves seasonal small plates at lunch — a more accessible entry point that still delivers Campanella's attention to local sourcing and clean flavours.
