Dubai Butterfly Garden
Tucked right beside the Miracle Garden and easy to overlook, the Dubai Butterfly Garden is the world's largest indoor butterfly garden — a climate-controlled wonderland of ten custom-built domes where thousands of iridescent wings flutter freely around you.
Inside the domes
Ten climate-controlled domes house over 15,000 butterflies from 50 different species, with nectar plants cultivated throughout each dome to keep the butterflies well-fed and active. The circular layout divides into four themed sections, each with its own micro-environment and colour palette.
Because the domes are temperature-controlled year-round, the Butterfly Garden is one of the rare Al Barsha attractions you can visit in summer without wilting — a genuine advantage over the outdoor Miracle Garden next door.
Tips for the best experience
Wear brightly coloured clothing — butterflies are naturally drawn to vivid hues and are far more likely to land on you. Stand still near the nectar plants and patience will be rewarded with a wing-tip on your shoulder.
Visit on a weekday morning when the domes are quieter and the butterflies are most active. The garden also features a butterfly museum section with educational displays on life cycles and global species diversity.

The Butterfly Garden sits just a two-minute walk from the Miracle Garden entrance, and combo tickets for both attractions are available at a discounted rate — making a joint visit the obvious and economical choice.
Bus 105 from Mall of the Emirates bus station is the easiest public-transport link, departing regularly and stopping right outside both gardens.
