The Arts Factory (18b)
Tucked inside a converted office-supply warehouse at 107 E. Charleston Boulevard, The Arts Factory is the beating heart of downtown Las Vegas's art scene — a labyrinthine complex where painters, photographers, and theatre-makers share walls under one roof. Step inside and you'll quickly understand why locals call this place the saving grace of culture in the city.
What's Inside
The Arts Factory is home to over 30 artists and art galleries, working studios, retail shops, and the resident 18Bin bar and restaurant — all reflecting the eclectic, DIY spirit of Downtown Las Vegas.
Wander the corridors and you'll stumble onto everything from fine-art photography to theatrical rehearsals. The building also houses a common performance area used for live music, poetry readings, and pop-up shows throughout the month.
Don't leave without hunting down the Gallery to Go art vending machines near the entrance — a uniquely Vegas way to take home an original artwork for the price of a casino chip.
First Friday & Preview Thursday
The district truly ignites on the first Friday of each month, when thousands of visitors descend on the Arts Factory for live music, food vendors, and open-studio access to dozens of local artists — all completely free of charge.
The night before, Preview Thursday offers a quieter, more intimate look at new exhibitions, ideal if you want real face-time with the artists without the festival crowds.
Arrive by 6 p.m. on First Friday to snag street parking on Charleston Boulevard before the lot behind the building fills up.
